Questions you might be wondering
Here are some answers to some of the most common questions I get asked.
I'm too scared to have a reading - what if you tell me I'm going to die?
This is a really common question. Newsflash, you are going to die one day, but I am not going to predict that because Tarot is not a prediction tool (plus telling people that they're going to die isn't very nice). Tarot deals with the here and now according to what is going on in your mind and your immediate environment. So unless you are doing something incredibly dangerous or life-threatening, then I'm never going to predict death.
What can I ask?
Honestly? The question that's in your heart, that lives there, taking up space day after day.
No question is a stupid question even if it's a feeling. Come with a feeling even if you don't understand it and we'll work from there. The words will come out from the moment you exhale and start talking.
What if I get an answer I don't like?
There is this great thing called free will, which you have. You don't have to do anything with the answers that you receive from the reading, but ask yourself this one question.
Why don't you like the answer?
I'd probably shine some light on that first. The truth sometimes isn't pretty and we get all sulky about it and blame other people/situations rather than look at how our involvement in a situation has led us to this point. It's a classic checkmate move. In chess, the game may be over, but in life, it's a question of what are you going to do now?
Do I have to believe in Tarot for it to work?
You don't question how electricity works in order to boil a kettle, and tarot is kind of the same thing. It's the conduit between two people that creates the conversation. The magic is simply the realisation when you understand a situation better.
Also, tarot simply gives you the answers, it's you that does the work.
Can I ask about someone else?
Technically no, unless it's how your role in a situation is affecting another person or how can you be of help to another person at this time. Asking about another person's life is privacy evasion, however you look at it! Tarot should only ever be used to empower your own life, not gain knowledge about somebody else's.
Invariably other people may come up in your reading, but this will be treated with compassion for both sides.
Can you read on pregnancy, fertility or illness?
Again, this falls under the banner of prediction, so no, I do not read on pregnancy, fertility, sickness, or any legal or financial matter. I can help you to understand a situation better or ways in which you can move forward with clarity. Tarot is always what can I do now? over what do I do now? Look inside rather than outside for the answers you seek.
Can I record my session?
Absolutely, yes!
